
South West 75
Summer celebrations wouldn’t be the same without a glass of fizz and our South West twist on a French classic is just the ticket for those warm and sunny evenings. Packing a punch like the original French 75, this cracking cocktail has even more flavour, thanks to the addition of egg white and some delicious local tipples.
What you’ll need
1 whole egg white
50ml Conker Spirit Gin
25ml lemon juice
12.5ml sugar syrup (two parts sugar, one-part water)
Champagne or sparkling wine, such as Lyme Bay Brut Reserve Sparkling
Ice
Let’s get shaking
Pour the egg white, gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker along with one ice cube.
Pop the lid on and shake really hard, then add more ice and give it a final brief shake to chill.
Pour into a Champagne flute and top with sparkling wine, it’ll fizz over but don’t worry, it’s all part of the fun!
