Sip your way into spring with this floral and citrusy concoction, which will hop delicately onto your palate, while the fresh pear and lychee notes transport you to the rolling Somerset hills.
What you’ll need
1 whole egg white
50ml Godminster Elderflower vodka spirit
25ml lemon juice and rind for garnish
12.5ml sugar syrup (two parts sugar, one-part water)
Edible flowers (optional)
Let’s get shaking!
Add the egg white, one ice cube, vodka, lemon and sugar syrup to your cocktail shaker and shake as hard as possible. The harder you shake at this stage, the frothier and more aromatic the cocktail will be.
Pop some more ice in and give it another good shake, before pouring into a large martini glass.
Top with soda water and garnish with unwaxed lemon rind and edible flowers if using.
